Martin joined the team in 2016 and has over fifteen years of professional experience in environmental consultancy. Martin specialises in contaminated land assessment, environmental monitoring compliance and waste management. He has significant experience in the project management of contaminated land investigations, licensed compliance monitoring programmes, site investigations and waste characterisation projects across a range of industrial and commercial sectors. Martin also serves as the company’s Health and Safety Officer, overseeing health and safety management and compliance across the company's operations.

Mark Day joined the company in 2024 and brings over 15 years of experience in environmental consultancy. His expertise includes contaminated land assessment, waste classification, environmental site investigations, drilling supervision, water sampling, remediation support, and Environmental Impact Assessment. Mark has managed and delivered environmental projects in various sectors such as residential, commercial, industrial, infrastructure, and renewable energy. As Principal Consultant, he leads site operations, communicates with clients, contractors, labs, local authorities, and regulatory bodies, providing practical, business-oriented advice to help clients understand environmental risks, comply with planning and regulations, and identify cost-effective solutions.

Simon has over twenty years of professional experience working on groundwater and contaminated land projects. He is recognised as one of the leading contaminated land risk assessors operating in both the Irish and UK markets. In 2010, Simon teamed up with the MOR Environmental team as Principal Risk Assessor to strengthen our Contaminated Land and Risk Assessment Team. Simon is actively involved in all of the company's contaminated land projects.

Amelia joined the team in 2019 as part of the Ecology Team. Amelia Keane has a B.Sc. (Hons) Zoology and an M.Sc. Wildlife Conservation and Management, and is a full member of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM). Prior to joining the team, Amelia co-authored the publication ‘Conservation conflict: Managing forestry versus hen harrier species under Europe's Birds Directive’. Amelia leads and manages the ornithological team and regularly manages and takes part in a range of ornithological and ecological surveys. Amelia works closely with our Renewables team, delivering solar projects throughout Ireland. She has extensive experience in other ecological reports, including Appropriate Assessments, Ecological Impact Assessments and species-specific assessments. Amelia has gained experience in managing Environmental Impact Assessments and Environmental Reports for high-profile clients and projects.

Kathryn joined in 2016, and has over 10 years of ecological consultancy experience. She holds a B.Sc. (Hons) in Zoology from UCD, a Master's in Environmental Sustainability from UCD, an Advanced Diploma in Planning and Environmental Law from King's Inns, and a 2025 Certificate in Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) for Onshore Wind Farms from the University of Limerick. Her diverse project portfolio focuses on renewable energy, especially managing planning applications for large-scale Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) projects, overseeing site selection and environmental assessment through to planning consent. She has expertise in Strategic Infrastructure Development (SID), including 110kV substations and underground grid connections, working with multidisciplinary teams. Kathryn had significant technical expertise in ecological surveys for protected species and leads assessments for developments like LRD projects. She prepares and coordinates Ecological Impact Assessments (EcIA), Appropriate Assessment Screening Reports, Natura Impact Statements (NIS), and Biodiversity Chapters for EIARs, providing robust ecological advice to support planning applications and ensure compliance with national and European environmental legislation.

Chris joined the team in 2025, bringing with him over 13 years of experience in ecological consultancy from his time in the UK. Chris has worked on a range of projects and nationally significant infrastructure projects, including large residential developments, urban regeneration schemes, renewable energy and electrical grid infrastructure creation and upgrade. Based at MOR Environmental Cork office, Chris manages a team of ecologists who provide input to a range of projects, including renewable projects (solar and wind), quarry sites, housing developments and industrial developments. Chris has extensive expertise in habitat assessment, protected species surveys, Ecological Impact Assessment (EcIA), Appropriate Assessment (AA), and Biodiversity Net Gain (BNG) assessment. He is a full member of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM).

Ursula joined the team in 2024 and has over ten years of professional experience in the environmental sector. Ursula leads the Renewables team and has extensive experience in successfully delivering renewable energy projects through the planning system. Ursula is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institution of Water and Environmental Management (MCIWEM C.WEM).

David is an experienced environmental consultant with over 12 years’ experience in Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), planning support, and environmental compliance. He has a strong track record in leading multidisciplinary teams on complex projects, particularly within the extractive sector. David regularly acts as EIA Coordinator and project lead, managing EIAR preparation and planning applications through to successful determination. He has significant experience in navigating complex consenting processes, including substitute consent applications, and ensuring clients remain compliant with Irish and EU environmental legislation. David adopts a practical, solutions-focused approach, with a proven ability to communicate complex environmental issues clearly to clients, regulators, and local communities.
