Due to continued expansion, we have created a new senior role, Head of Operations to support the Company to deliver its strategic plan.


The core purpose of this role is to develop the appropriate structures, processes and the implementation of the technologies to support the Company’s goals.


  • Overall responsibility for creating and implementing the operational strategy for the business.
  • Development of the management practices which will support the controlled growth of the business.
  • Overall responsibility for decision making and oversight of:
    • Financial reporting including management and board reports.
    • Administration, including direct management of 4 Admin staff.
    • HR function.
    • IT.
    • Quality (ISO90001).
    • Risk management.
  • Determination of a plan regarding resource management, both for technical delivery of projects and operational management.
  • Operational Risk Management.

Specifically, it is expected that the role would deliver the following:

  • Drive identification and implementation of required tools/software/processes required for operational efficiency.
  • Manage tracking of profitability on project, client, technical team, type of service basis.
  • Ensure that all HR policies and procedures are fully developed and implemented.
  • IT – ensure that the following is managed and delivered in cost/time efficient manner: data security, digitisation of all data and processes, and availability of required software/hardware.
  • Quality: ensure accreditation maintained, ensure procedures are implemented fully and followed by management and all team members.
  • Manage general business supporting contracts such as insurances, tenancy agreement, and similar.


  • Strategic involvement in specific client bids and specific contract negotiation.
  • Supporting activities to build on the culture of MORES, grounded in excellence across all aspects of our activities and engagement with employees and clients.


  • 7 years plus experience in operations, including at a senior level.
  • Direct people management experience.
  • Experience in development of financial reports.
  • Preferable but not essential experience in services industry.
  • Excellent understanding of business processes and associated tools.
  • Excellent ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing at senior management level.
  • Passionate team player.
